Kawajima Racing Project (KARP –
Kawajima Racing Project (KARP) is an RC (radio-controlled) car event series organized by Mr. Yano of kimihiko-yano.jp. Previously held as the “Minami Ashigara Project (MAP),” the event moved to the former Omi Elementary School in Kawajima Town, Saitama Prefecture, after the previous venue (a 폐교 in Minami Ashigara) became unavailable.
KARP hosts various forms of RC car events, including free practice sessions and mini-races. Races may feature classes such as F1 Wide, 12GT-R, 12GT-F, and Pro Stock. The track layout can change for each event, and with participation numbers exceeding 5,000, it has become a very popular event series.
The KARP YouTube playlist features event highlights and live streams.
Please note: KARP is an event project that utilizes a specific venue (former Omi Elementary School) for its events, rather than a permanent, independently operating facility like a typical RC track or store. Therefore, there isn’t a fixed physical address with regular operating hours for the “project” itself, but rather for the event location when active.
(KARP – Kawajima Racing Project)
